A software engineer, a freelance writer and a slow runner
Born in Italy, Renato spent almost two decades in the unknown town of Manerbio. After graduating in Physics from the University of Padova, he worked for research centers in the USA and UK. Cold Wisconsin and rainy Durham were his home for a while.
Finding software development the best example of entropy, Renato moved his interest into object oriented programming languages. Since 2001 he has been working as software engineer and he holds a MSc in Computing Science from the University of London. In 2006 he joined Funambol. He enjoys location independence and splits his time between London and Milan.
Renato is a registered journalist and a freelance writer. Writing for National Geographic, hiking the GR20 in Corsica and learning German are among his goals. Arsenio was his first and favourite cat.
